You might hear that a lot while we travel. Just a tip. Be sure to carry currency in smaller dollar amounts. That way when you take a taxi, or buy something from a vendor, or any other time you need to use cash you do not hear the person you are paying say they do not have any change. It avoids you paying more for your item than you originally planned to do!
Also, beware of nice street vendors offering for you to take a picture with their parrot, donkey, or anything else. After they make this nice offer and you snap a picture with your own camera, they then tell you that you owe them $20 or some other monetary amount for the picture.
And if you are not a great "barterer" (is that a word? And I am a non-barter person), then hang out with John or Kelley. I have cruised with both and when shopping they know how to talk to the vendors and get a deal! They rock!
